GLP Company, after half year from initiating their business activity in Central Europe, has started a construction of new logistic centre in Lędziny on Upper Silesia, while BatiPlus Company fulfils a function of multi-disciplinary investor’s supervisor for that project.
Logistic centre is located directly at S1 express route, where warehouse-production facilities with area over 110 thousand square meters will be constructed.
Project in Lędziny is realized in accordance with GLP Design Standard. This means, amongst the others, that the buildings will stand out with storage height increased to 12 metres and preparation of the roof for installation of photovoltaic panels.
Furthermore, these warehouse halls will have increased load carrying capacity of the slab floor (7,5 tone/sqm.) and installed Smart Metering system allowing the clients for live monitoring of utility consumption, for example by using the smartphone. GLP logistic park in Lędziny will be built in accordance with the requirements of BREEAM certification on “very good” level.
